ELNET is a highly respected, not-for-profit, pan-European organisation which has been working for a decade to strengthen relationships and facilitate dialogue between Israel and Europe.

We believe that Israel and the UK share deep values, mutual interests, and strategic challenges, and the recent ‘Memorandum of Cooperation’ is a clear example of this growing relationship.  From health and humanitarian aid to climate change and cybersecurity, we want to ensure Israel is understood from a 360-degree perspective; as a democracy which has challenges and successes like any other.

We support a safe and secure Israel and the pursuit of peace in the Middle East through direct negotiations and balanced debate between Israel, the Palestinians, and Arab countries. We believe that the best route to peace is through dialogue, and we reject the increasingly polarised, aggressive rhetoric around Zionism and the Jewish people’s right to self-determination. We seek to build bridges not divides, and will call out antisemitism wherever we find it.

The UK and Israel have a close relationship which provides a vital source of diplomacy in a volatile and unstable region where Israel sits alone as the Middle East’s only democratic state. We need to bring our European allies deeper into a more meaningful and prosperous relationship with Israel which is mutually beneficial not only for international stability, but that which promotes greater international trade, innovation and technological prowess for all.

We bring a fresh approach to the UK political landscape in that ELNET UK is a completely cross-party organisation, maintaining impartiality and independence.

We work collaboratively with our partners and seek to engage, educate, and build relationships with parliamentarians, policy makers and other opinion formers from across the political spectrum.
